Skill x Swap – Credit-Based Skill Trading Marketplace (MVP)
A React Native MVP that lets users trade skills using a monthly credit system and earned swap credits, powered by Firebase and Stripe-ready architecture.
The Problem
The founder needed a clean, intuitive skill trading app that could handle different user tiers, monthly credit limits, and earned credits from completed swaps, while staying simple enough for a first MVP.
Our Solution
We implemented a React Native app backed by Firebase, with clear user onboarding, separated "Skills I Offer" and "Skills I Want" lists, a credit-aware swap request system, and proper differentiation between monthly allowance credits and earned credits. The system was architected for future Stripe integration and an enterprise white-label edition.
The Results
- Completed a full-featured MVP including onboarding, skill management, and swap flows.
